Trout are a little mixed up – in the creeks and back in the river. They are moving in as water cools but weather has varied water in temp of late.

I have had good reports since last update. A lot of quality fish in some places; just have to locate them. If you fish river and nothing – move into creek. Baits of choice still Mirrolure, DOA, and Gulp with Live Shrimp for live baiters, and boy do they work.

Two of the three of the pictures came off of shrimp. Chris had his limit plus this one 5.4 lb fish. David Stilley weighed in this 5 lber which was part of a 24 fish catch for 3 fishermen, and I got the chance to fish myself in New Bern area and limited out on trout and rock Tuesday afternoon. The rock, as well as one trout, were caught on wooble eel rigs in New Bern. Thes rigs are tough!

Get your warmer clothes out and get going, fish are staging up good.

Live shrimp are in my tank now for the Live Baiters and have a good selection of Mirrolure
(some OLD style 38s), DOA, and Gulp at discount prices.

Safe fishing and remember OUR KIDS
