Neuse River OLD Drum Report

order: 0;” alt=“image” />

It was a great week on the Neuse. Old Drum are hungry. Two trips for first time Old Drum catches.

First trip with was with Chuck and Linda Rothbart. Weather was rough with stiff NE wind. Started out slow but ended trip with 5 boated and 1 spitting hook at boat. We say this was the HOG!! Linda was moaning (picture tells story) a bit on first fish but regained composure and said sheepishly; I want another!  2 citation fish at 41” and 44”.

Second trip was with the Levtzow family. Slick hot conditions, more manageable that first. Hope (my first mate) got here first old drum only short time into trip with a nice 43” citation fish. Second fish went to her brother, Brandon, landing a feisty 38” fish. I attempted to fill dads (John) bucket list to no avail. He said his goal was accomplished with is 2 kids catches.

Fish are here – and I am ready to take you on a fun trip! It’s getting busy so call early.

Call to book trip that I guarantee FUN and all the effort I can put out to put you on a trophy.
